Program description
Health Care Administration and Policy, MS
As health care systems face mounting pressure to deliver better outcomes at a sustainable cost, professionals who can design and lead effective care delivery models are in high demand across the public and private sectors.
The Master of Science in Health Care Administration and Policy prepares students to lead through a curriculum grounded in population health, health informatics, systems engineering, health economics, equity, bioethics, and policy. Students tailor their studies through elective focus areas in health policy and advocacy, health systems management, or performance improvement, and work toward improving population health, enhancing the patient experience, and reducing per capita costs of care. Delivered in a cohort format that can be completed in as few as nine months, the program pairs students with leading health care organizations to complete an applied capstone project.
