Program description

Nutritional Science, MS

Sound nutrition plays a central role in human health across the lifespan, and translating nutritional science into effective practice requires specialized training. The Master of Science in Nutritional Science prepares students to apply nutritional science to real-world health and wellness challenges, offering two specialized focus areas: sports nutrition, which centers on exercise science and the dietary needs of athletes, and maternal-child health, which emphasizes promoting the well-being of women and children. Students who have completed an accredited didactic program in dietetics may also apply to complete the program alongside ASU's dietetic internship.
